He moved to NYC in the early 90's and fell in love with color and textured hair. Shlomi is an expert at blondes, grey coverage, fine hair and short cuts.

Jean is a ten year veteran at Thomas Taft Salon. Her super power is communication so whether you are looking for a full on transformation or something simple, she will dig deep and get clear insight into your hair goals and ideas. If you happen to be into the NYC restaurant and art scene you'll be in good company with Jean.

Ranne is a versatile artist boasting over 20 awards from his European competition days for his imaginative, avant-garde hair creations. He has become famous in the UES for his dreamy, layered cuts and cashmere blowouts rumored to last 7+ days! Turkish is his mother tongue. Ranne loves seeing your inspiration pictures.

Roman is a cheerful, dedicated third generation hairstylist who customizes his creative ideas for each appointment. He studied many disciplines including Curly hair, French and Japanese techniques. He is known for giving his clients the celebrity experience.

Mary has been a Hair Artist on the UWS for a near decade. Mary is a reds and barber cut expert as well as our Salon Educator.

Uro$ started his career in his home country Serbia and moved to NYC in the early 2000's. He is a creative colorist and long layer specialist. Thomas Taft SoHo has been coined "The House of Uro$" inspired by his unique client experience and of course high fashion.

Priscilla is trained and certified in multiple color systems and enjoys using her knowledge to create exactly what her clients are envisioning when they sit down in her chair. Her goal is to build genuine relationships with clients which helps her guide them to the latest trend would work best for them.

Meet Amanda, the vibrant hairstylist hailing from the Bronx. With a passion for purple hues, she transforms hair into works of art as a fashion color expert. Beyond the salon, Amanda's voice shines as she indulges her love for singing. Her clients not only leave with stunning hair but also with the contagious blend of confidence and sweet attitude that defines Amanda's unique touch.

Ahmed is an incredibly welcoming and caring person. His number one goal is to exceed his clients' expectations. Ahmed owned a barber shop in Morocco for over ten years before moving to NYC to create a life with his growing family.

Mariana specializes in our newest offering inspired from her home in Indonesia. Hair Spa is 75 minutes of heaven 🤤 This luxurious treatment will bathe your hair and scalp in dreamy goodness to eliminate dryness and leave you feeling completely refreshed after a 30-minute head, shoulder and hand massage & blowdry.

Straight out of the boogie down Bronx, Angie is extremely passionate about art, animals and the beauty industry. Her artistry ranges from photography, to interior design, as well as using her hair as her canvas. She has quickly become the recognizable voice on the phone and in-person coordinator at all Thomas Taft locations. Angie is ready to welcome you to our space with a warm smile and hearty laugh.

Charles wa born and raised in NYC, a true Brooklynite! He loves music, DJ’ing, mixology and hosting karaoke nights. Charles is inspired by the passion of the Hair Artists and loves being able to contribute to the camaraderie that exists between staff and clients.
